Music in the Mountains
TEAM - Trail Running Challenge

WHAT: A 7.2 mile
technical trail run with 3200 feet of elevation gains &
losses in beautiful Ohiopyle State Park. Solo's, and teams of
2 & 4 runners will run/walk the course as many times as
possible, over a 12 hour period.
WHEN:
August 30th... 7 am to 7 pm
WHERE: Ohiopyle
State Park

Team's/solo's
will receive points for each time a member of their teams
successfully completes a lap of the course during the 12
hour period.

Teams/solo's
can have all members, only one member, or no members
of their team on the course at any given time.

Athletes will
check out, & check back in with race course staff
before starting, & at the conclusion of each lap.
-
Race staff
will man 3 separate checkpoints along the course to insure
safety.
-
Racers are
required to carry a water bottle, minimum 8 ounce capacity
at all times on the course. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

There will be
2 separate water stations along the course where
competitors can refill their water bottle.
Bring the family
& enjoy the FREE Music
in the Mountains Festival, overlooking
the beautiful, world famous, Yough River water falls. Bike
rentals, swimming, hiking trails & the Natural Slides are
all available for your family to enjoy while you compete.
Fireworks at 9 pm.
Awards for the 1st
place team in each catagory will be presented on stage at,
the Music in the Mountains Festival at 8 pm.
