Equinox Traverse Adventure Race 7/12 - 46 HOUR A.R.The Equinox Traverse Adventure Race is a 46-hour race in the beautiful Laurel Highlands located in Western Pennsylvania. This extreme adventure race includes mountain biking, trail running, white water rafting, kayaking and orienteering for over 200 combined miles through more than 75,000 new acres in the Laurel Highlands Region. Lionheart Adventure Race 8/17 (NAARS EC RC) - 24 HOUR A.R.The Lionheart Adventure Race is a daring 25-hour race in beautiful Ohiopyle State Park located in Western Pennsylvania. This thrilling adventure race includes mountain biking, trail running, kayaking, white water rafting, rappelling, and orienteering for over 85 combined miles including 75,000 new acres to explore. This race is suitable for beginner racers with proficient orienteering skills, intermediate and advanced adventure racers. This race is now the North American Adventure Racing Series (NAARS) East Coast Regional Championship.

This "sprint" race, while challenging, is not as technical as many other races and is a good race for people new to the sport.
