Our corporate challenges have included team challenges, white water rafting, rock climbing, as well as car fighting and our famous obstacle course appropriately nicknamed, THE PAIN. Doug, Thanks for signing us off for the climbing and kayaking for the PQ. I GREATLY appreciate it and EVERYTHING that you have done to make us ALL BETTER RACERS!! You have had such a positive impact on the adventure racing community, you are truly one of the 'pioneers' and I am very grateful to know you. I am looking forward to racing in Philly with you. Let me know when and how we will travel to the race. I checked the website and got the gear list, so i am good to go:) - Suzan Falvey

Doug, Congratulations on a great event. I have been racing mountain bikes since 1989 and triathlon since 1998. I have done over 100 races, everything from major city marathons to local fire hall fund raisers. I feel the need to tell you that your event was one of the finest I have attended.

First, registration was efficient and easy. The schwag was a long sleeved sport shirt made for active use. The graphics were understated and classic. It is something I can and will actually use. There was gel food and electrolyte water. Again, something I can actually use. What was gratefully missing from the schwag was a plastic bag full of flyers and promotional materials on their way to the garbage can.

Second, and most important was the race itself. It was expertly marked and thoughtfully constructed. It was challenging without being ridiculous. Water stations were where they needed to be and course volunteers were plentiful. It was a refreshing change to get into the woods and off the road.

Third, the post race was the best. Hot plentiful pizza, lots of raffle prizes, and sportsmanship awards.  A promise from the promoter to leave no trace.  No loud blaring music or feedback microphones. Right on spot.

Thanks for a great day. –Matt Wholey

My name is Joshua Provens and I just finished your XTERRA race at  Yellow Creek State Park. It was an awesome race and I will definitely will  be back next year. Keep up the great work!
