One of the best parts about working at American Adventure Sports is getting to do something you love with co-workers who feel the same way. We like working with friendly, hard working, passionate people… so we keep seeking them out to hire.
American Adventure Sports hires from within, so there is only one way to get a job - complete an internship between March and October. Each AAS intern is expected to complete at least three months with our team.
This internship is not like a re-run of Office Space. You do not stuff envelopes and get us coffee. As a successful applicant you dive in head first, traveling around the nation, making real decisions and directing real events. We hire highly talented people and provide them real responsibilities.
Available focuses include:
- Creating race platforms and managing athletes
- Leading and educating youth in the wilderness
- Conservation and environmental education
- Video production and website design
- Business administration, marketing, and public relations
You will be expected to present a clean appearance, possess a willingness to challenge yourself and learn. Your job will be much more enjoyable if you are capable of running, biking, or paddling for a few miles. If you don’t know how to do something, we will have our professional adventure staff train you. You must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable source of transportation. We also prefer you are certified at CPR, but do not require it.
