The JNOAC: Conquering Nature Deficit Disorder One Child at a Time!

The Junior Naturalist Outdoor Adventure Camp Series (JNOAC) encourages children to explore their natural world through participation in Outdoor Adventure Sports, Environmental Enhancement Projects, and Conservation Education. Offering both Resident and Day Camps, the JNOAC strives to provide children with an educational and rewarding experience. We understand the importance of providing children with the opportunity to be challenged and encouraged.

Time and time again, we've seen children from our camps grow and mature in ways that amaze us. Over the past 6 years, AAS has produced more than 20 Junior Naturalist Outdoor Adventure Camps in various locations. Since 2004, more than 750 campers have learned how to assess and manage risk while playing in the great outdoors. We have conducted more than 114 hours of conservation education and completed environmental enhancement projects. Many campers return year after year, which we consider to be a humbling testament to our high standards and the quality of our product. It gives us enormous satisfaction to see our returning campers advance, grow, and evolve their skill sets.

At our camps, your children will learn/practice orienteering, kayaking, canoeing, water safety and rescue, yoga, rock climbing, rappelling, fishing, swimming, fresh water snorkeling, wilderness survival, hiking, body maintenance, ultimate Frisbee, camp fire songs, environmental conservation, and MUCH MORE! We value the time that we spend with your children, and we don’t take it for granted. For testimonials about our camps, please ask our many loyal clients.
